London, England - Chelsea In Bloom

Sloane Square

Each year, in conjunction with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the shops around Sloane Square participate in Chelsea In Bloom: a competition to decorate their storefronts with magnificent floral displays. This year marked the 10th Anniversary of Chelsea In Bloom and the theme was 'Fairy Tales': the creativity and artistry of how the retailers interpreted this theme was just spectacular.

Smythson won the Highly Commended Award:

This year's Innovation Award and People's Choice Award (voted on by the public) went to Kate Spade for their larger than life pink flamingos:

The Sarah Chapman store was the winner this year taking home the Best Floral Display Award with their Sleeping Beauty covered in flowers:

Duke of York Square off the Kings Road set up a lovely Alice in Wonderland tea garden where you could enjoy cakes and Pimm's:

For those who didn't want to walk, free rides were provided to visit all of the participating stores to view their displays:

  1. Wow, that would be amazing to see in person! I love everything about the Alice in Wonderland display, but they did an amazing job on all of them!
