Munich, Germany - Brunch at Rocco Forte The Charles Hotel

Two weekends ago for my birthday I was treated to the most lavish Sunday brunch at the five star Rocco Forte The Charles Hotel in Munich. Both guests and non guests of the hotel are welcome to partake in this buffet of all buffets. The double height windows in the dining room let in lots of light, even on a cloudy day, and its a great place to relax over a long lazy breakfast.

In addition to being able to order any number of hot dishes off the menu from eggs to waffles, the buffet stations are a force to be reckoned with. Take my advice: come hungry.

Traditional white Bavarian sausages with pretzels and mustard:

Mini donuts and beignets were a big hit:

Bircher muesli, cereals, yogurt and fruit:

Cold cuts, smoked salmon, cheeses:

The bread station:

Croissant, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, with jams, mango compote and nutella:

Fresh honeycomb:

For an indulgent breakfast that will keep you full for two days, I highly suggest splurging on The Charles Hotel breakfast when in Munich.

  1. If this post doesn't inspire you to try something new, I don't know what will. The theme of food, travel and novelty are brilliantly captured by this post. Excellent job.
