Paris, France - Christmas in Paris

Outside the Merci shop in Paris
To get everyone in the Christmas spirit, I thought I would post, over the next few days, some of my favorite holiday decorations from around Europe. I always love to see how each big capital or small town embraces the Christmas season through lights, holiday street markets, and regional food specialities. So enjoy these festive photos and do share your favorite holiday destination with us!

Trees of tasty macaroons

Trees lining the Champs Élysées

And while it is not a Christmas decoration per se, is there any more beautiful illuminated statue than the Eiffel Tower?! It is breathtaking no matter what time of year you view it, but even more magical when the rest of the city is lit up for the holidays.
